Birdwatching In Grand Teton National Park
As far as the migratory bird watching goes, the first destination that should be on your itinerary is the Grand Teton National Park. It features five different habitat types. So you can be assured of seeing a variety of birds. There are also 11 spots within the park that tend to be productive viewing spots.
If you are looking for elegant trumpeter swans, the best spot is Two Ocean Lake. It’s a 2.4-mile long, glacially formed body of water that is accessible from a 6.4-mile trail. The trail’s terrain isn’t likely to leave you winded. The sight of the swans, however, just might.
