Mark your calendar for the kick-off event to the backcountry ski and snowboard season; Avalanche Awareness night is slated for Thursday, December 5th at Center for the Arts from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. “Avy Night” provides winter backcountry users with valuable information on early season snow conditions, equipment, clothing, wildlife closure areas, ski resort programs, local avalanche classes, pass etiquette and guide services.
