March is always a great month to visit Jackson Hole. In the early days of spring, you will experience a full range of weather and snow conditions in the Rocky Mountains. There can be days with big storms, bringing powder skiing and riding, and then you can have sunny, warmer days with corn snow, sometimes all within the same week. No matter what the weather brings though, you can count on some great events to add to your memorable Jackson Hole spring trip.
March 19-20: The Mini Hahnenkamm Town Downhill
A classic local favorite is the Town Downhill, which is put on by the Jackson Hole Ski Club at Snow King Mountain. The race features a pro division; as well as recreational, telemark, junior and snowboard divisions, all of which attract over 200 competitors and 500 spectators. This event pays tribute to the long history of ski racing in the community, recognizing Jackson Hole as one of the last ski areas in the country to hold a non-sanctioned downhill race. Following the last day of racing, there’s a fun awards party at the base of Snow King.
March 17-20: Jackson Hole Rendezvous
Each spring for the last couple years, the Jackson Hole Rendezvous has grown with an expanding variety of musical acts and fun events for all ages. Set on outdoor stages on the Town Square in Jackson and Teton Village, these free* music concerts are a fun way to wrap up your day on the mountain.

March 24-27: The World Championship Hill Climb
A fun crowd, big snow machines, and exciting racing are what you can expect from the World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb held in the heart of Jackson Hole every spring.
This annual event is put on by the Jackson Hole Snow Devils and brings the best snowmobiles racers to town as they battle to climb the aptly named Snow King Mountain.
March 26: 41st Annual Pole Pedal Paddle Race
The Pole Pedal Paddle has been a spring tradition in Jackson Hole for over 40 years. The four event race consists of an alpine ski leg, a cross country ski leg, a bicycle leg, and a boating leg.
From competitive individuals to teams of friends and family dressed up in crazy costumes, this unique event attracts all types of contestants and fans.
March 27: Easter Sunday
Start your morning with a non-denominational sunrise service at the top of the gondola. Free rides are offered for those not skiing. For families with little ones, the Easter bunny brings colorful eggs to the Town Square, as well as the ski slopes in Jackson Hole. Many restaurants offer brunch and buffets for this special holiday.
April 2-3: Closing Weekend
Spring skiing and riding is always fun, even up to the last day. Closing weekend will feature more live music and plenty of après ski parties.
