The kids may be back in school during the week, but there's still time to slip away to Jackson Hole on the weekend and enjoy these fun activities in September.
Big River - The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn are two of the most well-known characters of Mark Twain’s books. The Jackson Hole Playhouse brings this classic to life with performances Monday through Saturday, through October 6th. You can see the show or check out their amazing menu and take the kids for dinner and a show. The whole family will love ‘heading down the Mississippi’ with Tom, Huck and Big Jim. Make your reservations now by calling (307) 733-6994.
Flights and Feathers
There is something amazing about seeing the wide eyes of an owl or the regal feathers of a golden eagle up close. Bring the family on Saturdays through October 19th to the Teton Raptor Center's Flights and Feathers program. Held at the Jackson Hole Airport, 1250 E Airport Rd just 12 minutes north of Jackson. These beautiful majestic raptors will be at the Airport from 11:30am-1:30pm. Enjoy an arm's length encounter with live raptors and visit with the Center’s education team. The kids will love this live ‘classroom’ experience.
Snow King Mountain
There's still time to race down the mountain on the Cowboy Coaster. This is a thrill ride for young and old with nearly a mile of loops, curves, and drops. Snow King Mountain is open 10:00am-5:00pm Saturdays and Sundays. While open summer and winter, the last of the summer hours end September 29 so hurry and fit in a fun weekend with the entire family.
So come spend a fun fall weekend in Jackson! There is so much to do!
